How to choose depth, temperature and leak sensors
Range sets resolution
A sensor ranged for 300 m resolves shallow depth less finely than one ranged for 10 m. Choose the smallest range that covers your deepest dive plus a margin, not the largest available.
Supply voltage is not logic voltage
Several I2C sensors run from one supply but talk at another logic level. Check both against your autopilot or microcontroller, and use a level converter where they differ.
Depth and temperature are different measurements
A depth sensor may report temperature from its own element for compensation, but that is not a water temperature sensor's accuracy or response time. Choose each for its own job.
